Mr Eazi Family

Ajibade was born to a pilot father and a mother who was into small-scale business. His father later on established his own private aviation consulting practice. The fact that his mother owned a small business it also inspired him to be an entreprenuer.

He said his new video Kpalanga was influenced by the absence of his father in his life and that in the video he wears coumaflage because his dad was in the airforce, which is where the inspiration came from.

Mr Eazi Education

At the age of 16, Mr Eazi relocated to Ghana to further his education, enrolling in the mechanical engineering program at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He also holds an MSc degree in Engr/Management from Coventry University.

This is where he started recording music and he contributed guest vocals to the track "My Life", a song that gained traction and became a popular record at KNUST. He also started a party and promotion company called Swagger Entertainment. He used this platform to book shows and promote events on the campus of KNUST.

Fans couldn't help, but show their admiration of the young couple.

Mr Eazi Controversy

Mr Eazi was born in Nigeria, but his career was really cemented in Ghana. The two countries have had some type of feud going on over the superiority of their cultures. The ‘Jollof Wars’ which is fought all through the year, is a good example of this. Mr Eazi, who Nigerians consider to be one of their own, kind of threw his own people under the bus when he identified himself with Ghana instead of Nigeria.

In a 2015 interview with Pulse the singer said: “I prefer staying in Ghana – actually Kumasi because, I love the Ghanaian culture and things happen to be easy for me here in Ghana,”

In 2017, the "Skin tight" singer tweeted saying "Ghana's music influence on Nigerian music cannot be over-emphasized," a statement which didn't go down well with his Nigerian fans. However, he later on apologized for his remarks and how things had been taken out of context.

He clearly did not mean any disrespect and took some responsibility for his actions.

Mr Eazi Cars

This might come as a surprise for many because it is something not expected of any celebrity. Mr Eazi revealed that he does not own a car and he actually prefers using the Uber transporting services. He revealed that he was given credit by Uber and he does not see the reason why he should buy a car that he will only drive a few times in year.

Mr Eazi Net Worth

He is one of the most influential artists who is believed to have an estimated net worth of $1 million. He has worked with labels like Universal Music Group South Africa and Universal Music Group Nigeria.

Like the entreprenuer that he is, after founding emPawa in 2018, he has been on a global campaign to mentor and fund African artists. The entity has provided marketing and business support for established acts like Nigeria’s Simi and Ghana’s King Promise.

Congratulations to him as he recently made it under the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 as one of the continent’s revolutionary thinkers revitalizing ideas and industries with fresh business models and innovative leadership.

Mr Eazi is definitely a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the Afrobeats. He's done nothing, but put Africa on the map with his great hits and he doesn't seem to be slowing down.
