Kwesi Arthur got his start in the music industry after being inspired by Drake, a Canadian rapper.

The star rapper was inspired by the art of Thank Me Later and was ready to begin investing his time in bettering the craft he was pursuing. It wasn't long before he cracked the code and made it in the industry.

The rapper released "Grind Day," a popular tune off his EP, Live From Nkrumah Krom (2017).

GroundUp Chale, a social action group, provided huge support for the record, which was published under his own label.

Because GroundUp Chale was already established in Ghana, gaining their support as a newcomer was quite encouraging.

He later recorded a remix with Sarkodie and Medikal after releasing his smash track.

Some of his notable collaborators include Medikal, Sarkodie, R2Bees, Stonebwoy, KiDi, Jason E LA, Nasty C of South Africa and B4bonah. Working with top artists from the Southern parts of Africa made him gain audiences in the region.
