Actor Kwadwo Nkansah popularly Lil Win is the latest groom in town after marrying the love of his life and mother of his twin boys Maame Serwaa. The comic actor divorced his wife Patricia after 4 years of marriage. 

After a failed marriage and being rumored to have had an affair with his colleague actress, Sandra Ababio, he has moved on with Maame. This marriage took place six years after his divorce from his first wife.

About Maame Serwaa


21-year-old Clara Amoateng alias Maame is a Ghanaian actress and brand ambassador. Maame started her acting career at 6 and has starred in several films. She has won several awards including Kumawood best actress of the year 2015 and a couple Ghana Tertiary awards.

Sometime in 2021, Kwadwo shared a photo of a US-based beautiful wife. On Saturday, May 21, the actor went on Instagram to share different photos from his private ceremony. 

The wedding ceremony was conducted in Jamasi, Kumasi was an exclusive private invite only party. The new couple had a typical Ghanaian cultured traditional wedding. “Where there is love there is life. I was called greedy, selfish and impatient which made me feel a little insecure. I can make mistakes, I can be out of control and at times hard to handle. 

But you proved to handle me and my boys at our worst, and you have assured me that you deserve me at my best. Adom Nyame Nhyira wo… Maame Serwaa … #wezzyempire,” he captioned under a photo of him and his wife. 

Other photos he shared are those of his groomsmen who looked dapper in blue kaftans. Speaking about his new marriage, the actor said he has learnt a lot of lessons and wishes that all young men would wait and marry at the appropriate time.

The new couple had Ghanaian cultured wedding and as expected, did not disappoint with the Kente attire for the event. In Ghana, Kente stands for the rich culture and traditions and plays a huge role in the holy matrimony. 

So naturally, a traditional wedding cannot be held without the couple and close relatives wearing Kente outfits. The bride, Maame Serwaa wore an elegant orange Kente combo ensemble hugging her curves .

She put together a floor-sweeping dress with curly black hairstyle that made her look outstanding on her big day. She had on simple accessories that complemented her look perfectly and topped it with her infectious smile while posing for the camera.

On the other hand, her husband, Lil Win looked exquisite in his wrapped Kente cloth that matched his wife’s fit and portrayed rich culture in his Ahenema pair of slippers. Obviously, the newest inspiration for traditional weddings.

Speaking about the experience he says young men desiring to marry should ensure they get women who are doing something; who can contribute something meaningful to the marriage like Maame. He added, however, that he is still on good terms with his former wife for the sake of their children.
