A week ago the government called upon celebrities to use their influence to teach the public about Covid-19, which would in fact make them unpaid ambassadors to the cause.

Many entertainers were ready to do so, including Jackie Appiah who didn't see the need to ask for payment from the government before raising awareness.

Jackie has since started her outreach. She was spotted donating items to the  women at Texpo Market, Spintex, Accra.

Shatta Wale however doesn't think so, when asked if he could do it for free, his answer was a big fat NO. Naturally he was accused of loving money more than helping fight against the virus. The Already hitmaker was quick to defend himself and proceeded to issue a warning to the actress.

In an interview with TV3, Shatta Wale made it clear he was a business man and will treat his services as such. He stated that his statement was not motivated by his love for money but in a bid to secure his future.

Thus if government wants to work with him it should know that he would not be doing anything for free.

Shatta Wale went on to tell Jackie Appiah not to come crying and begging the public for help when she fails on hard times because of wanting to do things for free.
