Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has shared his thought about the popular #BehindTheHitz challenge that has trended across social media.

Speaking to MzGee in an interview on Showbiz 927 on 3FM, the controversial artist expressed his that he doesn't understand the hype behind the challenge when there is no financial benefit from the Instagram Live challenge.

“Well I am excited about this but you know Shatta is the type that will just barge in and ask them is there business in this if there is no business in this I don’t think people should be excited about this…it’s fun, it’s entertainment but then there should be something going on around it…because these things it kills careers so we have to be very careful,” said Shatta Wale.

The #BehindTheHitz was sparked by rapper Sarkodie who challenged renowned producers Appietus and Jay Q to go head to head on social media in a battle of hits through the times.

Shatta Wale expressed that he didn't understand how there two producers went live and did the battle that had no financial benefit.

The reggae-dancehall recently hosted a Live Faith Concert at his East Lagon residence, in Ghana, which was broadcast on his Youtube channel.

Shatta Wale took to Twitter to thank his sponsors for making the concert happen.
