Jackie Appiah Creates Covid-19 Awareness At Women's Market

It's always good to lend a helping hand

Actress Jackie Appiah is making sure she uses her reach to spread awareness about the coronavirus and give back to those in need.

Just a few days before the government of Ghana declared a partial fortnight lockdown, Jackie donated items to the  women at Texpo Market, Spintex, Accra, and educated the women about the virus.

Jackie explained the importance of washing hands in helping curb the spread of the coronavirus.

"As an Actress I make it a point to always give back to society in one way or the other. The coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19) has taken the world by surprise and it’s almost like the entire world is upside down so a little act of kindness is expected of every citizen of the world," captioned Jackie.

During the lockdown, the actress is making sure to keep busy and has even joined TikTok, which is basically entertaining people during their stays at home.
