Fella Makafui whose full name is Fella Precious Makafui was born on 20 August 1995 in the Volta Region of Ghana. She particularly hails from the Anfoega, Akukome area.
She was raised by a single mother after her father abandoned them and she’s always held a grudge toward him. However, after he passed on, she became emotional and wished she got a chance to bury the hatchet with him.
Fella did not have an easy upbringing as she narrated after her husband Medikal bought a car, that she sheltered in a kiosk.
Makafui grew up alongside her sister Fendy Fella.
Fella Makafui went to Kpando Senior High School where she served as an entertainment prefect and was the best dancer in her school. For her tertiary education, Fella Makafui went to the University of Ghana but dropped out to pursue her acting career.
Fella Makafui had no option but to make her acting career work. Before she got into acting, Fella was a model and nudist. She then landed a role in the television show Y.O.L.O where she established herself.
In Y.O.L.O, Fella played the role of Serwaa, a girl who gets exploited due to her naivety. Her delivery won her the Most Promising Actress at the 2016 Golden Movies Awards and City People Entertainment Awards.
She was later cast in films like "Swings", "Kanda River", "Chaskele", and "Once Upon A Family" in which she acted alongside Nigeria’s Mercy Johnson.

Her management denied the claims as Fella released a statement to distance herself from the video. In her defence, she claimed that someone was out to soil her reputation. In an attempt to clear her name, Fella was even willing to make a comparison between her and the image close to her body.
Whilst encouraging her fans to believe in God in everything they do, Fella Makafui disclosed that she prays naked. She explained that she wakes up at night, strips off and prays. This confession sparked controversy as people who believe she gets her wealth from rich men called her a hypocrite.
Two weeks after their wedding, Fella Makafui received a brand new car from her husband - a Mercedez Benz with a customised number plate with Fella’s name. This was not the first car Medikal gifted Fella. In 2018, he bought her a brand new Audi 8.
After she added some more tattoos to her body, Fella Makafui now refers to herself as an “Ink Goddess”. Her first tattoo was that of a lion's face to demonstrate her “lioness” nature.
